Liberty and Loop - a pilgrimage

The beautiful Liberty of London factory, so grand and so expensive, but so worth a visit!

And then the breathtaking Loop of London, down a tiny alley in Islington.

mmmmmmmmm.... so much goodness

Time

this quote has been on my mind lately, maybe I'll learn it..

“Time is an enormous, long river, and I’m standing in it, just as you’re standing in it. My elders are the tributaries, and everything they thought and every struggle they went through and everything they gave their lives to, and every song they created, and every poem that they laid down flows down to me – and if I take the time to ask, and if I take the time to see, and if I take the time to reach out, I can build that bridge between my world and theirs. I can reach down into that river and take out what I need to get through this world”

This Moment

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.
If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see.

A Quiet Walk

Sometimes you just need a quiet walk alone, then life gives you wild apples!

Our Haunt

Cork Coffee Roasters was our haunt. I think I always need a local place to go and sit, do crosswords, knit, chat and drink coffee/eat cake. So that's what we did.
A place out of home where you can simply relax and just do nothing. People can be observed, thoughts can pass. You can build a nest of sentiments around that local place, letting it grow bigger and become a part of your life and memories.
