two thousand and thirteen

catching up on the blogs i read this morning, i read words that were so inspiring i had to share them. Erin of bluebirdbaby posted about 'making it happen in 2013' and i decided to join her. she writes 'so now, with 2013 upon us and a whole new year to create, manifest, dream, hope, do, and enjoy, i want to make it all happen and more. i want to continue molding and shaping the life that i want to lead. i want to continue being completely authentic and genuine and honest and not really give a shit about what other people think.' 
mmm i'm tingling with excitement.

2012 was a year filled to the brim with learning new skills, pushing through discomfort, taking responsibility and having a heart full of love and inspiration.
i got my first job
i met the boy
i fell in love sideways
i payed my first taxes
i had my first year out of school
i bought my first computer
i went overseas by myself for the first time
and so many more things, some trivial some more significant, but all stitched together to form my 'year of firsts'. a wonderful year.

the new year has caught me in a state of peace and inspiration, set up by the past year i am finding the things i have sought for so long, learning the things i have longed to know and challenging myself to create a life so well tailored to me, i'm stoked!
